The department of Cultural Heritage and Conservation in collaboration with Deffner & Johann GmbH organized a nanorestore workshop which scope is to train conservation specialists and students in using safe conservation techniques and products for cleaning of different kinds of art objects – i.e. easel paintings; objects made of textile, paper, wood; objects with porous and gilded surfaces. Products which will be tested in the practicum were developed in the framework of three projects: Horizon 2020 (European Union Funding for research and innovation); “Nano-for-Art” and “Nanorestart” (2014–2020). The workshop comprises of theoretical and hands-on training to get the best overview and experience with the materials which are introduced.
